New Center of Excellence to Be Announced

WHAT: Leica Geosystems GIS & Mapping LLC will be announcing its first Center of Excellence in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing at the Center for Advanced Spatial Technologies (CAST) at the University of Arkansas. Leica Geosystems GIS & Mapping is an international leader in helping customers use high tech hardware and software to collect, analyze and present spatial information. The company's broad array of airborne sensors, photogrammetry and remote sensing software are now in use in northwest Arkansas and many other areas to map construction and transportation, assisting communities in managing their rapid growth. CAST members will demonstrate several projects in the area being conducted using Leica Geosystems software and tools.
