Razorback Transit Changes Lot 56 Express Route

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Effective immediately, Razorback Transit's Lot 56 Express route will be modified to include the Baum Stadium parking lot for the next two weeks. The revised route will be called the Experimental Baum/Lot 56 Shuttle.

The shuttle will leave the parking lot of Baum Stadium at 7 a.m., traveling to the east bus stop in Lot 56, a temporary stop on Ozark Street and a final stop at Brough Commons. The shuttle will return to the Baum Stadium parking lot, making a roundtrip every 20 minutes between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

"This change in the route is being made to accommodate the peak parking demand that occurs during the first two weeks of class," said Gary Smith, director of Transit and Parking. "The temporary route is planned to return to the original Lot 56 Express plan beginning Tuesday, September 7."

Students living off campus are encouraged to park at Baum Stadium and ride the Experimental Baum/Lot 56 Shuttle to the UA campus. For more information, or if you have questions about this or any Razorback Transit route, please contact Transit and Parking at 575-RIDE or at transit@uark.edu.
