Ready as a Razorback

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The University of Arkansas will welcome prospective students to campus for “Ready Razorback,” Saturday, Oct. 7. Registration begins at 10 a.m. at Bud Walton Arena and includes a full day of events highlighting the university and its commitment to future students.

“This is an excellent opportunity for prospective students to tour the UA campus, meet with faculty and students and experience what the university has to offer,” said Dawn Medley, director of admissions. “These students will have the opportunity to speak with faculty and staff about the U of A and find out about the college experience.”

“Ready Razorback” attracts students from all four corners of Arkansas and surrounding states. Currently over 600 students along with family and friends are registered. Students can also register on-site at Bud Walton Arena beginning at 10 a.m.

“We are excited about this event because it allows us to provide an overview of the university and the outstanding opportunities that are available,” Medley said. “This is an excellent time for juniors and seniors to visit the campus to learn about the admission process, financial aid, scholarships and our programs of study.”
