UA TASK FORCE FOR THE ENHANCEMENT OF GREEK LIFE SENDS RECOMMENDATIONS TO CHANCELLOR WHITE FOR APPROVAL

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The Task Force for the Enhancement of Greek Life at the University of Arkansas, appointed by Chancellor John A. White in April, submitted its recommendations to the chancellor for approval, officials said.

Chancellor White appointed the Task Force to serve as a sounding board regarding specific enhancement to Greek Life dealing primarily with the men's fraternity system. His charge to the group was to develop a series of recommendations that would have a positive impact on Greek Life at the University.

The Task Force has met five times, including the final meeting last Thursday. During the meeting the Task Force approved the submittal of recommendations, with minor changes, that were drafted and discussed at the September 10 meeting.

All the recommendations to Chancellor White are included in the proposal, which is enclosed below.
