UA Walton College Holds Finance Seminar for High School Girls

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas is holding Girls and Money Management Enrichment (G.A.M.E.) July 9-15, 2005. The one-week residency program is designed to introduce African-American and Hispanic-American high school girls to financial planning and money management. During the week, students will learn about financial discipline, banking, planning and budgeting, salaries and taxes, career options, and credit. Students will prepare and present a challenging team project to Walton College faculty and staff. In addition, the participants will travel to Kansas City to visit the Federal Reserve.

WHEN:  During week of Saturday, July 9, to Friday, July 15

WHERE: Business Building, UA Campus
