University of Arkansas Global Campus Plans Grand Opening for Rogers Facility

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas Global Campus will have a grand opening and ribbon cutting at its new facility in Rogers from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, at 3300 Market Street, Suite 402, Rogers, Arkansas. University of Arkansas Chancellor G. David Gearhart and Linda Beene Ballard, dean and associate provost for the School of Continuing Education and Academic Outreach will attend. Remarks will begin at 2:15 p.m., and everyone is invited to attend.

The new Global Campus will be offering degree completion programs, graduate programs designed for working professionals, customized or open enrollment training, professional development programs, executive education courses, conference and meeting space rental, and conference planning services. Guests are invited to tour the new facility and view demonstrations on the latest technology used by the Global Campus in delivery of distance education.

"We are very excited about the opening of our new facility and the opportunities to better serve the formal and informal educational needs of Northwest Arkansas," said Ballard. "Through this new location, our programs will expand and allow synergy with the Arkansas World Trade Center to provide global outreach for both education and business.”
