Yale Alumnus To Join UA Legal Counsel

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- William R. Kincaid of Fayetteville had been selected to serve as an Associate General Counsel at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.

He most recently served as senior advisor to the assistant secretary and project manager of the Comprehensive School Reform Demonstration Program, which provides incentives for schools to undertake comprehensive, research-based reform efforts.

Kincaid will join T. Scott Varady in the Fayetteville office of the General Counsel and will focus on providing legal assistance and advice to faculty and administrators of the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. Mr. Kincaid will also represent the University and its employees in litigation.

"We are very pleased to have Bill join the University of Arkansas General Counsel’s office in Fayetteville," said Fred Harrison, University of Arkansas general counsel. "Bill has an excellent academic background and gained solid experience through his judicial clerkship with Judge Arnold and his positions of responsibility with the U.S. Department of Education. He and Scott Varady constitute a uniquely qualified team to furnish the University the advice and legal representation which it requires."
