Information Technology Conference to Help Women Advance in Industry
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Information Technology Research Institute in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas is sponsoring the sixth annual Women in IT Conference on Friday, March 12.
The conference, whose theme is “Connect, Collaborate, and Create,” will be held in the Donald W. Reynolds Center for Enterprise Development on the University of Arkansas campus from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration fee is $175. “This conference is designed to inspire and empower working women. It focuses on mentoring, leadership and how the next generation of women in IT depend on you to pave the way for their personal and professional success,” said Eric Bradford, managing director of the Information Technology Research Institute. “We are providing motivational speakers and relevant break-out sessions, based on our survey of the top ten issues in the industry. In addition, there will be many networking opportunities.”
The keynote speakers include Lucy Sanders, chief executive officer and co-founder of the National Center for Women and Information Technology, and Deb Wilson, chief information officer for ADT North America.
