Bookstore Announces Textbook Rental Program as Alternative to Rising Textbook Costs
The University of Arkansas Bookstore is now offering textbook rental.
FAYETTEVILLE – The University of Arkansas Bookstore will offer textbook rental in the bookstore and online at bookstore.uark.edu this fall. The program will offer savings that represent, on average, more than 55 percent off the price of new textbooks.
“We are eager to launch textbook rentals because we are committed to providing students with affordable textbook choices,” said Ali Sadeghi director of the University of Arkansas Bookstore. “We are constantly reviewing new opportunities and initiatives within the textbook market. We are confident that textbook rental is a viable option that our customers will find easy to use and very cost effective.”
The University of Arkansas Bookstore’s textbook rental program will:
- Include thousands of the most popular textbook titles for rental.
- Save students money on the course materials they need to succeed academically.
- Provide students with a new option for fulfilling their course materials needs.
- Be available to students online at bookstore.uark.edu for easy access.
- Allow students the freedom to highlight and take notes within the normal limits of acceptable wear and tear associated with coursework materials.
- Give students the choice to buy their textbooks at the end of the term if they want to keep them.
