Upgrade Creates Changes in ISIS Reporting

A small number of query manager users in ISIS Reporting could see changes in the near future when several tables and views are no longer available in the new v9.0 ISIS Reporting. Any query containing a deleted table will not open in the new reporting instance when it goes live in October.

An e-mail has been sent to the small group of users whose private queries are affected by these changes. Individuals who use public queries should review the listing of discontinued queries, tables and record names available at http://www.uark.edu/admin/isisdir/pages/upg90qm.htm. Users of a discontinued query should record the query so it can be rebuilt with a replacement table in the new ISIS Reporting.

Any public query name beginning with UA_ was created by the campus functional office that manages the data used. Those offices will determine if their discontinued queries will be rewritten for the v9.0 reporting instance.

All queries, public and private, that are saved in ISIS Reporting by 5 pm on September 13 will be included in 9.0 ISIS Reporting. Any queries created or changed after that time will not be included in the move. Care should be taken to record any changes made in the current version so they can be added in October.

ISIS Reporting is scheduled to go live on October 18, one week following the go live of the new ISIS. Query users are encouraged to make plans now for this brief interruption.
