A German Poet, the American Revolution, and Star Wars
Jeffrey L. High of California State University Long Beach will present a lecture titled: "Friedrich Schiller (1759-1805): The German Poet of the American Revolution." High will discuss the intersections of the American Revolution, 18th-century German literature, and Star Wars. High will lecture on Tuesday, March 8, at 7 p.m. in J.B. Hunt Room 216. The event is sponsored by the University of Arkansas German program and is free and open to the public.
