Interdisciplinary Research Award From Rockefeller Foundation

Kim Stauss and Eun Koh, assistant professors in the School of Social Work, and Carmen Coustaut, associate professor in the Walter J. Lemke department of journalism, received $100,000 in grant funding from the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation to evaluate the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund program.

Stauss' research areas of expertise are related to women's issues and technology; Koh specializes in social and economic justice issues for racially and ethnically oppressed populations. Coustaut's areas of emphases include screenwriting and directing, with a specific emphasis on the history of the image of African Americans in film.
