Purple Bus Route Service to Increase on March 21

The University of Arkansas transit and parking department will soon offer additional service to students, faculty, staff and the general public on the Purple bus line and part of Route 56.

Currently the Purple bus line runs Monday through Friday until 6 p.m. Beginning Monday, March 21, the Purple Reduced bus will operate for an additional four hours, until 10:10 p.m., and serve all of the Purple Route as well as the part of Route 56 which serves Duncan Avenue Apartments, Glendale Apartments and Hill Place Apartments.

The Purple Reduced will also operate on Saturdays and during summer and break times. This will increase days and times of service to the apartments listed above as well as to the Crowne at Razorback and Southern View.
