Professors Robinson and Parry featured in Civil War Sesquicentennial Documentary
Two University of Arkansas faculty members are featured in an upcoming documentary CW150: Remembering the Civil War in Arkansas. Charles Robinson, vice provost for diversity and associate professor of history and Janine Parry, professor of political science, both provide commentary on the importance of studying and learning from the Civil War.
The program will premiere on AETN at 8 p.m. Thursday, April 21, and will air again at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 30.
Arkansas Education Television Network has partnered with the Arkansas Civil War Sesquicentennial Commission to present the original one-hour program. The film examines Arkansas' role in the war and the war's cultural, economic, and political impact, both at the time and over the past century and a half.
