College to Recognize Outstanding Staff Members

The College of Education and Health Professions will recognize staff members who won awards for their work this year at the collegewide meeting May 6.

"It is with great pride that we recognize these staff members," said Tom Smith, dean of the College of Education and Health Professions. "They keep our college running smoothly, assisting students, faculty and other staff members with numerous tasks and processes. We could not operate without their dedication to accuracy and service. They take great pride in their work."

Smith also expressed appreciation for the service of the college's PEP (Professional/Personal Enhancement Program) committee in managing the award process as well as providing many staff development opportunities throughout the year. PEP will host the breakfast preceding the collegewide meeting.

  • Vickie Duncan, fiscal support specialist for the curriculum and instruction department, Outstanding Service to Faculty and Staff award for fall 2010.
  • Linda Fricke, membership coordinator for the intramural/recreational sports department, Outstanding Service to Students award for spring 2011.
  • Joyce Patrick, administrative support supervisor in the health science, kinesiology, recreation and dance department, Outstanding Overall Performance award for fall 2010.
  • Kenetheia Reed, accountant for the Office for Administration, Outstanding Service to Faculty and Staff award for spring 2011.
  • Danielle Sexton, administrative support supervisor in the rehabilitation, human resources and communication disorders department, Outstanding Service to Faculty and Staff award for fall 2010.
  • Cathy Weaver, administrative specialist II for the curriculum and instruction department, Outstanding Overall Performance award for spring 2011.
