Preview of Blackboard Collaborate 11
During the fall 2011 semester, the Information Technology Services Faculty Technology Center (formerly the Multimedia Resource Center) is offering free previews of the new Blackboard Collaborate (formerly Elluminate) to prepare faculty and staff for the spring 2012 upgrade. Previews are scheduled in the Gibson Annex training room throughout this semester.
Blackboard Collaborate blends several technologies into one tool that can be used to create online classroom experiences or hold collaborative web conferences. New features and enhancements, basic usage, and virtual room scheduling through a Blackboard Learn course will be demonstrated.
View the schedule and register at http://bit.ly/collaboratedemo-ipsum. Due to limited seating, the Faculty Technology Center will also offer live online sessions of the training at http://bit.ly/collaboratedemo.
