Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at Plaza de las Americas

The Hispanic Heritage Month Planning Committee invites you to a celebration of Hispanic/Latino culture, "Plaza de las Americas," to be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011, in the Arkansas Union Verizon Ballroom.

Come learn about the diversity within the Hispanic/Latino community. You can take some time to learn about the countries that celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by visiting each country’s information table. There will also be information tables sponsored by Hispanic/Latino Registered Student Organizations.

You will also have the chance to experience music and dancing from the various countries - all performed by University of Arkansas students, faculty and staff.

Please join us for this day of celebration!
