Razorback Fans May Have a Tough Time Leaving Texas this Weekend

The eastbound lanes of Highway I-30 will be closed for about 3/4 of a mile between Arlington, Texas and Dallas from Friday evening until at least early Sunday morning. Razorback fans returning from the Texas A&M game will have to take a detour at exit 61 onto a frontage road before returning to the interstate. Road construction crews will be placing steel beams for a bridge that will be part of the new President George Bush Turnpike.

Message boards will direct drivers along the route of the detour, but traffic is expected to be slow and heavy.

Drivers are advised to take US Highway 80 to State Highway 205 north to I-30 to avoid the construction.
