Research Opportunity for Parents and Teens

The ARKIDS laboratory in the university’s department of psychology is running a study for adolescents age 8-16 years. Eligible youth and their mothers will be asked to come to the laboratory to complete a packet of questionnaires and a speech task. Participation takes approximately one hour and compensation is $ 10 for each the mother and adolescent. The parent and adolescent will also be asked to take part in a follow-up phone interview a year later which also takes about an hour to complete and for which both the parent and adolescent will each receive an additional $10. Please see the links below for more information.

Laboratory visits for eligible youth and their mothers will be scheduled at your convenience (e.g., day/evening, weekday/weekend); please call Laura at 575-3523 or email ldickers@uark.edu for more information.
