Dining with the Dean

A team of students from UATV and the Arkansas Traveler will compete for $3,000 in a fun and surprising competition on the reality show "Dining with the Dean."

The University of Arkansas episode of "Dining with the Dean" will be premiering at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, on BYUtv. BYUtv is available on channel 9403 for all Dish Network programming packages, and on channel 374 for all DIRECTV programming packages. BYUtv is also available via Cox cable channel 252 and may also be viewed online at byutv.org after the episode premieres.

On Oct. 21, a production team from the show came to campus to shoot the program. The surprise twist was announced to the student teams that morning. Each team was given $30 and three hours to complete a challenge: The challenge, to cook a three-course dinner for Dean of University Libraries Carolyn Henderson Allen. Watch this special behind-the-scenes coverage produced by university relations.

Find out which team wins when the show premiers Nov. 17. A charity selected by the winning team gets two-thirds of the prize and the remaining $1,000 is awarded to the team organization.
