Employees of the First Quarter Award Winners Announced

The Staff Senate wishes to congratulate the University of Arkansas Employees of the 1st Quarter (July, August, and September).

Employees of the Quarter represent staff employees who have gone above and beyond their normal job duties. Each quarter five outstanding University of Arkansas employees (classified or non-classified) are nominated and selected for the award.

The campus community is invited to join the Staff Senate at its regular meeting Thursday, Nov. 11, 9:30 a.m., in Arkansas Union Room 507, to help recognize and celebrate these outstanding University of Arkansas staff members:

  • Sylvia Scott, Off Campus Connections—Professional/Non-faculty Academic
  • Sandra McKinley, Research & Sponsored Programs—Professional/Non-faculty Administrative
  • Tamara Ellenbecker, Industrial Engineering—Secretarial/Clerical
  • David Gilmore, Fruit Research Station—Technical/Paraprofessional
  • Kenny Williams, Building System Maintenance—Skilled Crafts/Service/Maintenance

Each winner receives a certificate and a monetary award and is considered for the Employee of the Year award in July.
