Chemistry and Biochemistry Fall Lecture Series

The department of chemistry and biochemistry Fall Lecture Series presents Michio Kurosu, department of pharmaceutical sciences, Health Science Center, University of Tennessee, who will present “Development of Novel Antibacterial Drug Leads for MDR Gram-positive Bacterial Infections,” Monday, Nov. 14, at 3:30 p.m. in CHEM 144.

Kurosu received a doctoral degree from Osaka University and obtained additional postdoctoral training at Harvard University. Prior to joining the faculty at University of Tennessee in January 2011, he was a faculty member at Colorado State University. His research centers on medicinal chemistry and synthetic organic chemistry.

A reception will take place after the seminar in CHEM 105.
