Wednesday, Nov. 30, Is Mandatory Meeting for Secondary Education Students
The College of Education and Health Professions will host a mandatory informational meeting for University of Arkansas secondary education candidates at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30 in Room 343 of the Graduate Education Building.
Information will be provided about procedures to follow to enter the Master of Arts in Teaching program in the summer of 2012. All students who plan to teach in seventh through 12th grades in the following areas are required to attend: drama/speech, English, foreign language, math, social studies, and life or physical science.
Topics will include procedures for application to the program, reference letters, portfolio requirements, admission to Graduate School procedures, interview procedure to follow, Praxis II due dates and a question-and-answer session.
