Business Analytics Certificate Course Being Offered

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Information Technology Research Institute and the Center for Management and Executive Education at the Sam M. Walton College of Business are offering a business analytics certificate course for those interested in improving their skills in data collection, access and interpretation.

The program meets two days a week over a six-week period starting Feb. 9. The course is designed for current business analysts and project managers who want to sharpen their skills as well as programmers, database administrators, master data analysts and others. Individuals in other areas such as sales and marketing who aspire to improve their data collection skills also would benefit from the program.

The classes will be taught by Paul Cronan, the M.D. Matthews Endowed Chair in Information Systems at the Walton College; David E. Douglas, professor and former chair of the information systems department; and Jeffrey K. Mullins, executive in residence at the Walton College.

Classes for the course will meet Feb. 9-10, Feb. 23-24 and March 8-9.
