Changes to On-Campus Wireless Access

Following a change to the UA Secure wireless network on campus, users may receive a security certificate warning on their computers or other wireless devices as their systems attempt to access UA Secure.

On March 20, the IT Services Network Engineering Team migrated authentication for UA Secure to a new cluster of servers. As a result, users logging into UA Secure for the first time after this change are required to accept the new security certificate. The certificate is valid and signed by GeoTrust SSL Certificate Authority.

IT Services recommends that users who have accepted the certificate, but still cannot connect to UA Secure, remove their UA Secure connection and create a new one, following the instructions linked from http://its.uark.edu/wireless_wired. To report problems connecting to the network, call the Help Desk at 575-2905 or go to http://askit.uark.edu.
