College to Recognize Outstanding Staff Members

The College of Education and Health Professions will recognize staff members who won awards for their work this year at the collegewide meeting Friday, May 4.

"We are very proud to recognize these staff members," said Tom Smith, dean of the College of Education and Health Professions. "Our staff are the backbone of our college. As the second-largest college on this campus, we could not serve the students without the dedication and hard work that these and all of our staff members put in every day. They also serve our faculty and other staff members through numerous tasks and processes. The growth and success of our college would not be possible without the contributions of all of our staff, and these are truly some of our leaders."

Smith also expressed appreciation for the service of the college's PEP (Professional/Personal Enhancement Program) committee in managing the award process as well as providing many staff development opportunities throughout the year. PEP will host the breakfast preceding the collegewide meeting.
