134 Razorbacks Record Personal Best GPA

FAYETTEVILLE – The University of Arkansas had 134 student-athletes record personal best grade point averages for the recently completed spring semester.

Football led the way with 28 followed by women's track and field with 20, and swimming and diving with 19. Baseball added 15 to the pool while soccer put in 13 and men's track and field had 11. Softball had eight student-athletes represented while men's golf and women's basketball had four. Men's tennis, women's golf and gymnastics had three while volleyball placed two, and men's basketball and women's tennis had one.

"Congratulations to the more than 100 Razorback student-athletes who achieved a personal-best GPA in the spring," said Jeff Long, vice chancellor and director of athletics. "Our student-athletes continue to demonstrate their commitment to succeeding academically and advancing toward graduation. We are proud of their efforts and the way they are representing the University of Arkansas on the field and in the classroom."
