Students Switched to UARK Gmail Tuesday

Starting Tuesday, July 17, IT Services will automatically migrate the mailboxes of all students who are not currently enrolled in summer school to UARK Gmail, the new official student email. IT Services expects the migration to take up to 48 hours. The mailboxes of students enrolled in summer school will not be moved until after the completion of summer sessions.

Students whose mailboxes have been moved to UARK Gmail will no longer be able to access UA Mail and will automatically be redirected to UARK Gmail when logging in at uamail.uark.edu. Similarly, students will no longer be able to access XpressMail and will get a message directing them to UARK Gmail when logging into mail.uark.edu. Contacts saved in UA Mail and XpressMail will be automatically transferred to UARK Gmail.

Students can continue to opt in at http://email.uark.edu/optin through midnight tonight. Support for UARK Gmail migration issues can be requested at http://askit.uark.edu. More information about UARK Gmail is available at http://its.uark.edu/student_email
