Fans can re-live the remarkable success of Razorback Athletics in the past academic year with the recently released 2011-12 Arkansas Razorbacks Athletics Annual Report. The annual report includes a 12-page publication, a year in review DVD and a comprehensive home page at ArkansasRazorbacks.com/annualreport.

"The past academic year has been one of the most successful in our history as our more than 460 student-athletes in 19 sports excelled in competition, in the classroom and in our community," said Jeff Long, vice chancellor and director of athletics. "The annual report provides us an opportunity to share our progress and success as we continue to focus on fulfilling our mission of developing our student-athletes academically, athletically and socially. Before we turn our focus on the upcoming year, the annual report allows us to share just a few of the many success stories of our program and to thank our Razorback Foundation members and fans for their continued support of Razorback Athletics."

In 2011-12, for the fourth consecutive year, Razorback student-athletes earned a cumulative GPA of more than 3.0 finishing the year with a 3.07 GPA. More than 80 current and former Razorback student-athletes added their names to Senior Walk as graduates of the University of Arkansas.

Fifteen of 19 Razorback sport programs advanced to post-season competition including six programs that finished in the top-10 nationally in their respective sports. The University of Arkansas finished the year 20th in the Learfield Sports Directors Cup, a season-long measure of athletic success of all Division I athletic programs. It marked the highest finish for our program in the Directors Cup in more than a decade.

In the community, Razorback student-athletes volunteered 6,052 hours for more than 108 schools, agencies and organizations. Arkansas also played host to more than 1 million fans for Razorback athletic events. In fact, the University of Arkansas was the only institution to rank in the top 25 of national attendance for football, men's basketball and baseball in 2011-12.

Annual reports have been placed in the mail to all Razorback Foundation members. The publication, 15-minute video as well as additional information on each of the Razorbacks' 19 sport programs is available at ArkansasRazorbacks.com/annualreport.
