New Courses for the Microsoft Windows 7 Operating System
The Global Campus is now offering courses for the Microsoft Windows 7 Operating System. In the Microsoft Windows 7 Operating System Basics class on Friday, Aug. 24, students will learn about new Windows 7 time-saving features, how to manage your files, folders and libraries, new search features with the Windows Explorer, customization with gadgets and themes, and updated browsing features with Internet Explorer 9.
In the Microsoft Windows 7 Operating System Advanced class on Friday, Sept. 21, student will learn to configure user accounts, manage devices and printers, manage and protect important files, run system utilities, perform troubleshooting and system restore, share and access network resources, and configure power-saving plans and security settings.
Classes are hands-on, instructor-led by certified Microsoft instructors. Class location is downtown Fayetteville at the Global Campus, 2 East Center Street, Room 302. Class times are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The cost is $159 per class, but University of Arkansas faculty, staff and current students can register for the discounted price of $99 per class.
