Mariachi Band to Perform in Honor of Hispanic Heritage Month
University Programs will host a free performance by an authentic Mariachi band Friday, Sept. 21, from 2 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the Greek Theatre.
The Mariachi Band will perform at the university during Family Weekend and will help kick off Hispanic Heritage Month. To add to the theme, Burrito Loco (Colombia Mex), located off of Martin Luther King Boulevard in Fayetteville, will provide free food.
This event is free to current University of Arkansas students through the student activities fee, and students must show their university ID for entrance. Admission for general public is free and contingent upon seating availability.

All donated bikes will be given to Pedal It Forward, a local nonprofit that will refurbish your bike and return it to the U of A campus to be gifted to a student in need. Hundreds of students have already benefited.
