Associated Student Government Announces Top 20 Homecoming Court Candidates
2011 Homecoming Court Recipients
The Top 20 Homecoming Court Candidates have been selected by the campuswide Homecoming Court Selection Committee. Homecoming Court represents school spirit and pride for the University of Arkansas and is one of the oldest and most storied traditions. Homecoming Court is open to all University of Arkansas women who were nominated by a registered student organization.
The top 20 will be interviewed Oct. 10-11, and the field will be narrowed to 10. The top 10 will interview again on Oct. 16-17. The five selected members of the 2012 Homecoming Court will then vie for Homecoming Queen. Elections for Homecoming Queen will be held between Monday, Oct. 29, at 9 a.m. and Wednesday, Oct. 31, at 4 p.m. through vote.uark.edu. Homecoming Queen will be announced at the Homecoming Pep Rally on Friday, Nov. 2.
Homecoming Court members will participate in the Homecoming Parade, Homecoming Pre-game and other events during Homecoming week (Sunday, Oct. 28, through Saturday, Nov. 3). The full court will be presented during the football game halftime show.
