Jane Goodall to Lecture Friday Night at Barnhill Arena

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE, internationally known for her groundbreaking studies of chimpanzee behavior, a conservationist, and a United Nations Messenger of Peace, will speak at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 5, at Barnhill Arena on the University of Arkansas campus. The lecture is free and open to the public. No tickets are required.

At Dr. Goodall’s request no flash photography will be permitted during her lecture.
Books by or about Dr. Goodall will be available for purchase before and after the event, on the north side of Barnhill Arena and a book signing will follow the lecture.

People wishing to attend may begin lining up at the south side doors to Barnhill Arena at 5 p.m. The doors will open at 6 p.m. No group reserved seats are available for the lecture.

Persons with disabilities can be dropped off near the south side doors of Barnhill Arena, and will receive assistance from ushers.

Normal security precautions will be in place at the arena. Each person will be required to pass through a security checkpoint, and cameras and personal items such as handbags will be inspected. Please allow extra time for this process. Please do not bring baggage, backpacks, strollers, signs or noise makers to the lecture. These items must be left at the entrance.
