School of Law Named 14th Best Value in Legal Education

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The National Jurist and preLaw magazines ranked the University of Arkansas School of Law the 14th “Best Value” in the nation. This is the second consecutive year the School of Law has been ranked among the top 20 “Best Value” law schools. Both magazines ranked the School of Law 18th last year.
According to The National Jurist, the ranking “looks at the most important exit numbers: the percent of graduates who pass the bar exam (15% of study) and the percent who get a job (35%)” and “weigh(s) these numbers against tuition (25%), cost of living (10%) and average indebtedness upon graduation (15%).”
“These rankings reflect our commitment to quality legal education and accessibility,” said Stacy L. Leeds, dean of the School of Law. “Our graduates are well-prepared to pass the bar and succeed in their professional careers, and they are starting those careers without the burden of excessive student loan debt.”
