The time has come to remove the Omnitruncated Dodecaplex model in Mullins Library, and the assemblers (or disassemblers in this case) need help! That thing is huge!

The model will be lowered from the east spiral staircase starting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 27, and it will probably take most of the day to disassemble it. Please stop by and help out if you can — they’ll be there!

As a bonus, the group will give away chunks of it, and plenty of loose pieces, so come claim your own ad hoc Zometool kit.

Why, you may ask, is it being taken down? So the assemblers can make another, even better model in the same space next year!

So mark your calendars, and pitch in on Nov. 27th.
