Campus Closings, Adjusted Hours For Thanksgiving Break

Students begin a five-day Thanksgiving Break on Wednesday, Nov. 21 but university offices will remain open until then. Most campus offices will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and the day after, Nov. 22-23. But there are some exceptions. Here’s a summary of adjusted hours and closings you can expect for the rest this week:

Arkansas Bookstore:

The Arkansas Bookstore will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22 but will resume normal hours Friday, Nov. 23.

Razorback Transit Bus Routes:

Razorback Transit will operate on the reduced service schedule on Wednesday, November 21, but there will be no night route service.

Razorback Transit will not be in service Thursday and Friday, Nov. 22-23. There will be no Saturday service November 24,. Parking regulations will be enforced November 22 and 23, particularly in connection with Game Day parking.

Safe Ride will not operate November 21- 24.

Arkansas Student Union:

The Arkansas Student Union will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22 but will be open on a limited basis Friday, Nov. 23, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., including the following:

  • The Razorback Shop will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • The Arkansas Union Food Court will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • Au Bon Pain will be open from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Normal hours resume Saturday, Nov. 24.

Mullins Library:

Mullins Library will close Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 6 p.m. The library will remain closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 22-23. The library will reopen Saturday, Nov. 24 at 10 a.m.

HPER Building, UREC Facilities:

The HPER Building, HPER Natatorium and the UREC Fitness Center in the Arkansas Student Union will be closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 22-23.

Residence Halls:

All university residence halls will remain open from Nov. 21 through Nov. 25 so students can stay in town instead of moving during the holiday.
