FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – AETN will broadcast the film Up Among the Hills three times in December. Produced by Larry Foley, professor in the Walter J. Lemke department of journalism in the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences, and narrated by President Bill Clinton, the documentary chronicles the story of Fayetteville. It may be seen at 8:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 3, 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9, and 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 30.

“It's really a collection of stories centered around what is unique and interesting, and at times quirky, about our town," said Foley.

Other Fulbright College faculty members involved with the film include journalism instructor Hayot Tuchiev who served as editor and director of photography and music professor James Greeson who composed the score. The team spent two years researching and filming.

In October, Up Among the Hills premiered at “Light up the Night,” a sold out black-tie gala hosted by the Fayetteville Public Library. The film was also screened at the 21st annual Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival along with two of Foley’s other films, The Art of Crystal Bridges and Growing Hope.
