Razorback Beach Towel

Students who missed a highlighted strength for the Strengths of the Week program have a second chance to meet the requirements to earn a Razorback beach towel from Dec. 3 to Jan. 14.

The office of student activities launched “Strengths of the Week” on Sept. 24 to help University of Arkansas students to learn about their strengths and earn a fabulous prize! The office has highlighted two strengths each week, and the program will be completed in March 2013.

If this is the first time you have heard about Strengths of the Week, or if you’ve missed a week when one of your strengths has been highlighted – it’s not too late! Starting Monday, Dec. 3, through Monday, Jan. 14, any University of Arkansas student can come to the office of student activities, Arkansas Union A665 (above the computer lab) to catch up on strengths that have already been highlighted.

Every week that one of a student’s top five strengths is highlighted, the student is able to come to office of student activities in Arkansas Union A665, talk to a staff member about that strength, and receive a sticker for that strength. Students collect all five stickers on their Strengths of the Week Passport, available in the office of student activities (ARKU A665). Students who collect all five stickers will receive a Razorback Beach Towel just in time for spring break, March 18-22, 2013!

The Division of Student Affairs utilizes StrengthsQuest by the Gallup Organization with students to promote academic progress, career exploration, and leadership development.
