Nick Dintelmann, International Business Club RSO Member of the Month of October

The office of student activities and SOOIE (Student Organization Outreach & Involvement Experience) recognizes Nick Dintelmann as the October RSO Member of the Month.

Nick led the International Business Club to achieve an exponential level of growth. He turned his idea for a club focused on globalizing the Walton College of Business into a thriving organization with over 160 members.

Nick said, “Being a leader means not being afraid to take a chance. Mistakes will happen and sometimes things don't work out, but a leader is the one who takes the stand and the initiative to succeed in their endeavor. He or she provides that spark that could spread into something wonderful.”

Despite the rapid growth in membership, Nick sees an even larger future for the club and continues to visit classes of over 300 students to promote the organization.

Nick has built a strong leadership team that is working hard to meet the needs of students who are striving for globalization of the Walton College of Business.

The staff members who nominated Nick said, “He empowers his officers to take the lead on various projects.” They continued, “He has impressively and consistently demonstrated solid leadership ability in the first semester of the organization’s existence.”

The office of student activities and SOOIE are privileged to recognize this student leader as the outstanding RSO Member of the Month. This student will be automatically nominated for the RSO Member of the Year Award given at the Student Involvement Awards in the spring.

Nomination forms for the RSO Member of the Month are available at http://osa.uark.edu/rso/. All are encouraged to nominate an outstanding student leader that goes above and beyond to make a positive difference on our campus.
