New and Improved U of A Computer Store Website

The University of Arkansas Computer Store & Service Center announced the launch of their new website, computers.uofastore.com.

The site offers a myriad of products including those in the store at 616 N. Garland Ave. and those available through distributors at academic discounts. The site also includes services and rates provided by the Service Center as well as useful links to Apple and Dell for warranty status and transfer of ownership forms.

Students, faculty, staff, alumni and parents will find the new site easy to use, informative and secure. Features will be added as development continues but, as of today, some include:

  • Current in-store stock levels
  • Aggregate pricing from their three largest distributors
  • Daily data feeds
  • Search by UPC, manufacturer, part number or product description
  • Detailed product specifications
  • Personal and departmental payment options
  • Options for campus delivery, mail-out, or in-store pick-up
  • Destination tax calculations
  • Secure check-out
  • University authenticated login – no account setup necessary

The new site is hosted on the university campus with UITS and credit card processing is handled by the U of A Financial Affairs credit card operations department.
