The University Recreation Club Sports program is hosting its first Club Sports Information Fair in the Arkansas Union Connection Lounge today from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. The Information Fair is a great place where students and faculty/staff may ask their questions about Club Sports to officers and other club members. There will be prizes and giveaways while supplies last.

“Club Sports has allowed me to be a part of something I’m passionate about, while being directly involved in University programming,” said Trent Ritchie, men’s Ice Hockey team member.

The Club Sports Information Fair concludes University Recreation’s Passport to Fitness week where students and members are invited to tour UREC facilities and programs.  Passport cards may be picked up directly at the Information Fair. Participants earn prizes for gathering stamps on their passport from different UREC areas.

The program currently boasts 31 clubs. An entire list of clubs can be found on UREC’s website: http://urec.uark.edu. For questions, contact Shannon Dere at 479-575-6736 or sdere@uark.edu.
