Brenda Hunter, a dedicated and loved 30-year University of Arkansas employee, will be honored with a retirement reception from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, in the Tour Room on the second floor of Silas Hunt Hall.

Hunter started at the university in hourly positions with dining services and university housing. She eventually took an appointed administrative position in housing. In 1994, Brenda was hired in the office of the registrar as a registrar’s assistant in the student records area and later worked with registration and class scheduling. In 1997, she was named associate registrar where she played an integral part in the implementation of ISIS. Since then, Brenda has administered ISIS security for student records, assisted with numerous ISIS projects, and has worked with a number of auxiliary systems on campus, such as SEVIS and R25. Brenda has been part of the office of the registrar team for over 19 years.

All are invited to join in celebrating the career of Brenda Hunter, a friend and colleague to so many on our campus.
