Department of Animal Science Produces New E-Newsletter

The department of animal science in the Dale Bumper's College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences is working hard to promote the department and its supporters. The department's new e-newsletter will feature stories of students, staff, faculty and supporters of the department on the 15th of each month.

Subscribers can stay tuned to upcoming events, recent awards, current research being conducted and much more. Each issue will feature multiple facets of the department such as equine, meat science, cattle, swine, parasitology, graduate student research, and feature stories of donors and volunteers.

"We are excited to share these updates with our supporters," says Brittany Butler, public relations specialist for the department, "It will allow us to connect with our students and followers who might not know what all is going on in the department. From animal science club updates to new research, we'll have stories and updates for all of our subscribers."

To sign up for the department of animal science e-newsletter, email Brittany Butler at bab004@uark.edu or call 479-575-3195.
