This weekend the Arkansas Razorback Quidditch Club will travel to College Station, Texas, to compete in the first ever Southwest Regional Quidditch Tournament. This two-day tournament is hosted by Texas A&M University on Penberthy Fields in affiliation with the International Quidditch Association. Teams from the Southwestern United States will compete all day Saturday and Sunday in both pool and bracket play for a coveted Top 10 spot, which qualifies a team to attend Quidditch World Cup VI in Kissimmee, Fla., this April.

Arkansas Razorback Quidditch, the most recent addition to the University Recreation Club Sports program, has been a campus organization since 2010. Since its inception, the team competed with teams across the south, southwestern and midwestern states; currently being ranked 34th in the world. After months of planning and practice, the team is eager to compete and represent the University of Arkansas.
