SPSS Changes for Windows License and Unix Versions

SPSS for Unix and SPSS 15 for Windows will no longer be available as of May 10 due to compatibility issues related to an upcoming Unix server migration. As a result of this change, Comp server access to SPSS will also be discontinued. Licensed users can upgrade without cost to SPSS 20 for Windows.

Users with data files created using SPSS for Unix (for example, .sav files) can convert data files to the SPSS portable file format and import to SPSS for Windows or Mac. For assistance converting data files, or to request the free SPSS 20 upgrade, contact Ling Ting at ting@uark.edu.
