Arkansas Short Takes: Could Microbubbles Help Save Your Life?

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Groundbreaking research being conducted by University of Arkansas senior Kristin Kovach could lead to a safer and more precise way of treating blood clots. This week’s Arkansas Short Takes video showcases Kovach, an honors physics major, and her faculty mentor, professor Gregory Salamo, both of the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences, as they research how microscopic bubbles in the blood stream can help doctors dissolve blood clots.

In about 90 seconds, you can learn more about how undergraduate research at the U of A provides solutions to real world problems in the Arkansas Short Takes video, “Could Microbubbles Save Your Life?”
