National Alcohol Screening Day: How Much Is Too Much?
Ever wondered or worried about your alcohol use habits? Those of a friend or family member? Or maybe how your use compares to that of others? If so, come find out “how much is too much.”
The department of psychological science in the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences and the Substance Education and Alcohol Resources Office will be teaming up to host National Alcohol Screening Day from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 5, in the University of Arkansas Union, rooms 507 and 508.
The goal of this event is to teach interested individuals about the signs and symptoms of problematic alcohol use. There will be free refreshments and information related to alcohol use and misuse. Students that stop by will be asked some questions about their recent alcohol use and related behaviors, receive personalized feedback, and enjoy free refreshments from Pepsi Co. All students, staff, and faculty are welcome to attend, whether or not they are concerned about their alcohol use or the alcohol use of a friend or family member.
