Arkansas Short Takes: Lights, Camera, Action
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The best way to learn is to learn from the best. That’s what University of Arkansas broadcast journalism students experience daily by working with faculty members like nationally renowned documentary filmmakers Larry Foley and Dale Carpenter. Foley and Carpenter have worked together at the U of A for more than 30 years, producing more than 40 acclaimed documentaries along the way.
This week's Arkansas Short Takes video provides a glimpse of Foley’s and Carpenter’s dual roles as Emmy Award-winning filmmakers and mentors. In about 90 seconds, you can learn more about the U of A’s dynamic duo of documentary filmmaking in “Lights, Camera, Action!”

Spring Bike Drive Refurbishes Old Bikes for New Students
All donated bikes will be given to Pedal It Forward, a local nonprofit that will refurbish your bike and return it to the U of A campus to be gifted to a student in need. Hundreds of students have already benefited.
