Business Opportunities From the Arkansas Alumni Association

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Alumni Association is excited to launch a new membership level designed to connect businesses with alumni and friends of the University of Arkansas. Any business or nonprofit organization can become annual business members for a low rate.

“Businesses have always had an interest in showing support for the Arkansas Alumni Association and the University of Arkansas. Now we have a way to introduce business opportunities through membership,” said Carolyn Baltz, associate director of membership and marketing for the association.

Business memberships will give members access to marketing and networking opportunities, such as sponsorships, advertising and perk partnerships, at a lower rate. In addition, business memberships will include a subscription to the new online business directory: BusinessHogs.com.

Terri Dover, director of membership and resource development at the association, shared her vision for the program: “We are excited to announce these new offerings for businesses who want to be closely involved with the University of Arkansas and the Arkansas Alumni Association. Working together we can promote each other for a greater impact for all.”

Every business member will receive a white listing in the BusinessHogs.com directory for free, as well as 10 percent off sponsorship and advertising packages. Business members can enjoy two complimentary passes to Membership Appreciation Day at the Sept. 14 Hog Wild Tailgate held at the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House. Every business member will be listed on the Alumni Association’s website and will be featured in ARKANSAS magazine and the e-newsletter, @Arkansas, once a year.

The Courtyard Marriott of Fayetteville has signed on as the first business member. “The Courtyard chose to partner with the Arkansas Alumni Association and become a business member to further invest in the University of Arkansas, support the Alumni Association and get to know more like-minded businesses within the Razorback community,” said Serena Munns, corporate sales manager for the hotel.

For information on becoming a business member, or other opportunities mentioned, please contact Carolyn Baltz at membership@arkansasalumni.org or 888-275-2586.
