Senate, Cabinet, and committee applications can be downloaded from asg.uark.edu or picked up in the ASG office, Arkansas Union A669.

“As student leaders at Arkansas, we need to create a strong representative body which recognizes its obligation to uphold tradition while vigilantly looking for opportunities to improve our campus. Creating this body begins with students making the choice to get involved in ASG,” said Amy May West, Chair of the Senate.

Available applications with associated deadlines are as follows:

Senate Applications

Vacant seats in ASG Senate are filled with a fall at-large election. Students do not run by college of enrollment; instead, all students vote for all candidates that appear on one ballot. Senate Vacancy Applications are due by noon on Thursday, Sept. 5. In addition to applying through the online process, candidates are also required to attend one of two mandatory candidate orientation meetings.
